Two dead and one hundred injured during a disaster earthquake in Greece



A popular summer holiday resort in the Greek Dodecanese Islands and Turkey’s Aegean coast have both been hit with a strong magnitude 6.7 earthquake which unfortunately claimed two lives.

According to Giorgos Halkidios, Kos regional government official, the number of injured as a result of the earthquake which hit the area nearest to the epicentre and appeared to be the worst-hit, was more than 100.
       “Two or three of them are in serious condition and are in surgery,” he said.
Giorgos also added that the injured included people who were underneath a building that collapsed
