Spanish international striker Diego Costa has opened up legal proceedings against reigning Premier League champions Chelsea.

Costa claims the Blues are blocking him from returning to Spanish side Atletico Madrid after being told by Chelsea gaffer Antonio Conte that he is not part of his plans for this season.

Conte ruled the former Atletico Madrid striker out of his plans for this season after the bust up they both had last term over the lather's proposed move to China.


He is currently in Brazil on holidays whereas his Chelsea teammates are preparing for the defense of their Premier League title when they host Burnley on Saturday, August 12, 2017.

Costa is however frustrated that the Blues should let him face the exit doors since the club's handler has declared him out of his plans.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are expected to make an official statement on the latest development surrounding the future of Diego Costa at Stamford Bridge
