What Christriano Ronaldo had to say about the cause of Champions league against Tottenham hotspur
The Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo revealed his takes
on the cause of their loss against Tottenham hotspur during the champions
league return leg on Wednesday.
According to the press, Ronaldo said Madrid will soon return
back to their previous form at the early stage and turns things as expected.
He said, I believe we would not have lost the game if not
for the poor officiating because Tottenham second goal was clearly an offside
goal but the referee ignored it “that was actually a bias decision”
Ronaldo who said he was not worried about his present
performance about his lack of  goals this
season, He had five shots on target at wembley stadium against Tottenham but
scored once at 3-1 defeat.
The Portugal captain told Cadena Cope, I think the result didn’t
showcase our performance at the pitch, because Tottenham first goal was offside
likewise also at Girona their second goal was definitely an offside.
“These are the obstacles we are facing, although we cannot
control that but I believe all we need now is good discipline, teamwork and
fighting spirit which I believe we put in both legs but the result is what
matters at the end.
As a player you have limits to everything, I know fans are
not worried about good performance but goals which I believe is just a number “victory
is what matters most at the end of the day”. But if you google Christiano
Ronaldo goals you will see what it takes.
Although,  it is bad
that we lost because we are always eager and accustomed to winning. The fan
have to be calm and be supportive this will bring confidence and motivation
among players. We admit that we are not in good for; but I really don’t think
that we need to change anything in the team.
He said, this is a bad spell for us and we want to change
for better and I’m very sure that the changes will show up soon. We still have enough
time to patch and build up a better team again.
