Meet 23 year old Nigeria female king

Princess Taiwo Agbona a native of Ondo state who recently graduated from University of Ibadan became the latest and the youngest regent.

She was called  by the traditional chief  who crowned her as the temporary ruler of her kingdom. As the first born of the family she is to please the gap of the throne based on traditions till the next king is put to throne.



When her royal Highness princess Oyebola was called for a brief interview, in her statement she mentioned that it was a shocking and unexpected call to be a regent  but she is left with no choice than to respect her father and heed to the call.

In addition to her statement, she said when I was told by the chief priest that I am the choosen one i became speechless so  I had to request for 3 weeks to think about it. Me acting like a king and give order is a big task she said to the BBC interviewer


The 23 year old  has to follow some vital rules by not engaging herself in any relationship until the new king is appointed. This means  that she can not get  married until a worthy person becomes the king.
